Boogie Bottoms is a place were the whole family can go to have a great time. The BB complex is equipped with a fully functional
.Music Stage and Dance Area, Modern Concessions, Children’s Playground Area, Large Restrooms and Bathhouse, campsites, and rental cabins to name a few of the amenities. It is also outfitted with a 3-story Barns of Horrors and an awesome Drive-In Movie Theater…All of this located the Banks of the Locust Fork River.

Short Creek

In the event that you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Short Creek. So many cool things to do at Short Creek yet so little time. If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go paddle Scarham Creek. Berry Point is in the neighborhood and always pleasant to check out. At any of these rivers you are sure to have a good time. While your here, take a short tour over Short Creek Falls which is always worthwhile. High temperatures at Short Creek through the days of summer are in the 90′s with night lows in the 60′s. During the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 50′s; night lows in the 30′s for Short Creek. Short Creek usually gets alot of rain; the month with most of the rain is March while October is commonly the driest month. Blue Bend is an attention-grabbing site to explore while at Short Creek. Dry Creek also flows through this region.
ABSOLUTELY NO SPECTATORS ALLOWED UNLESS YOU ARE PADDLING THE RIVER. THERE IS LAND OWNER ISSUES AT THIS LOCATION.
Locust Fork of the Black Warrior River

If you come at the right time of year, The Locust Fork of the Warrior River offers some great whitewater. There’s always some flowing water nearby. Austin Creek is a stream you can visit. There are some great whitewater spots on Graves Creek and let’s not forget Little Scirum Creek which is a stream that you may stumble upon during your stay. At Warrior River – Locust Fork through the warm months highs are in the 80′s while overnight lows are frequently in the 60′s. The wintertime brings highs in the 40′s; night lows are into the 20′s. A good deal of rainfall falls on the Locust Fork river shed; March is the wettest month; October on the other hand is the driest. At this river good times are had by all. Scirum Bluff is an interesting site to see while you’re here at Warrior River – Locust Fork. And for you adrenaline junkies there’s whitewater on Chitwood Creek!
Hole competition will be determined by water levels and we are doing our best to get spectators in to Ender Hole is the water is right. If the water level is over 4 feet, we will have the hole competition at King’s Hole.
The starting line for the SUP race will be at the Hwy 160 bridge where the Locust Fork crosses and the SUP race will end at Boogie Bottoms.
